Today we did a practice test for Chapter 7 and 8. We will review the test tomorrow in class.

We reviewed basic probability today and then finished working on our projects. They were due today.

We finished off chapter 8 today. We talked about Rotations, Dilations and Symmetry. In the afternoon we finished up the worksheet we were given in the morning and then we worked on creating a tesselation pattern.

Today we reviewed Optimization and Related Rates. Then we started on the next practice final exam. The solution key can be found here.

Today we learned about translations and reflections. The homework was a worksheet. You can find more explanation on pages 300 - 305 in your text.

Today we started reviewing Chapter two on limits and continuity. We also tidied up most of the first Practice exam.

Calculus, June 1st.

Today we talked about finding volumes for solids of revolution using discs. Then we looked at the different types of integrals at the back of the text and discussed where first year calculus goes from here. In the period after lunch we worked on the practice final exam.

End of year review begins tomorrow.

Today was test day. We will start end of year review tomorrow.

Today we reviewed all the work we did in chapter 7. We also made up a formula sheet. This is the only sheet you will be allowed to bring into the Ch 7 and 8 test. We begin Chapter 8 tomorrow.

Test is next week on Wednesday, June 9th.
